I’ve been licensed since 2003 as a real estate agent and broker in Tucson, Arizona and Columbia, South Carolina. In 2021, I opened my own Real Estate office, O’Konek Realty. With nearly a two decades of experience finding the perfect home for buyers or ensuring sellers achieve the highest value for their most prized possession, I can walk you through the transaction and alleviate your fears.

I was born a yankee, and hail from Dayton Ohio. It didn't take me long to fall in love with my husband and South Carolina during my first duty station at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter. I served 24 years in the Active Duty Air Force, during which time my husband and I toured the world visiting 5 continents, 14 countries, 2 US territories and 37 states.  I retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in the First Sergeant career field. While serving our country I instilled a strong work ethic in my troops and we moved 14 times! My experience with moving households will help you significantly as you buy or sell. In addition, while working real estate, I continued to serve Veterans at the Columbia VA Health Care System for 12 years as the Chief of Ethics and Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring business processes and practices were above board and followed with integrity. 

We've been married 38 years and have made Columbia, South Carolina our home since 2008. I love it here, and I love what I do!
